England Coast Path: Amble to Redcar-day three

We left our Caravan Whitley Bay Seahawk Lodge ..a huge thank you again Alba loved her night there and we headed off into Whitley Bay onto Cullercoats and then Tynemouth. What an incredible coastline and such amazing people! We handed out Alba cards, got given donations and plenty of people wished us well and good luck!

Then we had such a treat, the most spectacular sunrise over the sea. Bursting through the sky Alba said with a pop of colour.

We sat next to Tynemouth Castle on a bench and watched the sunrise before heading into North Shields to catch Alba's first ever ferry! The Shields Ferry was incredible! We were welcomed on board, they made an announcement on the tannoy, showed Alba around and chatted with us. She loved it!

We saw so many boats today and spent lots of time on many different beaches. The weather!!! It is so hot! We have been spoilt with such warm sunny weather especially today,we made the most of it and stopped on benches soaking it in along the way.

Finally we made it to Seaburn after 18.7 miles! Alba had ice-cream and they donated too.

We checked into our hotel with the most amazing view!

Popped into the amusements and Alba won twice on the 2p machines.

She walked over 57,800 steps today. Meaning over 177,000 Alba steps in the last 3 days and a total of over 54 miles in that time.
