This morning I woke up VERY EARLY to start my first day of walking! I put my headtorch on and started walking through Amble in the dark.
The plan was to walk around nine miles to Cresswell. We walked on sandy beaches and little cliffs, over sand dunes and watched the sunrise over the sea which was like a burst of colours! We even saw cows, we walked over a little bridge and I found lots of cool shells that I have never seen before.
We made it to the Drift Café! The manager came over and chatted with us and paid for all our food and drinks-they were very nice people. I loved the hot chocolate- I got two of them!
We then headed to Sandy Bay Caravan Park.
We walked past Lynemouth Power Station which was so cool, the biggest power station I have ever seen.
I also saw lots of England Coast Path signs.
We then walked along the cliffs into Newbiggin and I ran along the beach back to the cliffs where we spotted our caravan.
