The sun has shone all day! So many people & businesses came out to wave her off, gave her gifts, make donations and stop for a chat. So many cars pipping and waving, many stopping to make donations too.
We walked through Castleford into Locklane, down to Garforth and into Kippax before heading on to Aberford.

THURSDAY 21ST APRIL-DAY TWO
What an amazing second day.
This kid is a rockstar!! She's enjoying every single second, her bag isn't light the walks aren't short but is she still singing and skipping after 20+ miles? You bet!
She's chatted to so many people today. Collected £20 in money donations. Had so many cars buses lorries and vans pipping and waving. Incredible!!
We are so grateful for your 100s of comments/messages/likes/shares, for your donations and many many kind words.
She's just so excited. First night in a Castle and tonight glamping in a pod. Tomorrow onto Malton to stay in a Tudor Mansion.

FRIDAY 23RD-DAY THREE
Day 3 smashed and what a day!
Today was always going to be a tuff day with a huge chunk of road walking (grass verge),with endless roads stretched out for around 9 miles it was physically tuff for sure. But she has done incredible!
We left the comfort and magical surroundings of our pod and headed off for Malton. I took some wrong turns ,one cost us a few miles we faced some fields of cows which isn't our favourite and the miles went on and on.
However, she's having the best time. We're sore and it's absolutely the most physically demanding thing we've EVER done but what an adventure!
Visiting so many places, views, wildlife and animals and people. She met a horse named Tucker out for a ride with his owner ,Alba said he was beautiful and of course the lady and horse stopped for a chat
She's had a hot soak in the huge corner tub as we get settled at The Old Lodge tonight with an exciting day tomorrow.. more on that later.
Have a great night and we'll catch you in the morning! We've breakfast here and a lay in ..yeees!
Miles: 30.8

SATURDAY 24TH APRIL-DAY FOUR
Today has been incredible,so much so we're going to split it into 3 parts.
Part 1
We've had incredible support today. So many have stopped and donated along the route.
We arrived in Sherburn to a waving greeting. To be told to walk down to this pub, they'd had a whip round and were waiting for Alba.
When we arrived we were met with a huge crowd all cheering her on. Everyone passed donations over ,notes and coins and filled a money bag full. FLABBERGASTED!
We just can't believe it.
Part 2
Something else amazing happened today. We got a message yesterday from a lady called Julie;Dave's wife. He had asked Alba to look out for a Tef transport lorry and if she spotted one to send a photo in exchange for a donation!
Well she saw one and the message we received yesterday was to ask if Alba would like to come along and see the lorries, the warehouse..everything! So we got picked up this morning (and dropped back at the same spot)
AND the same truck she saw is named ALBA...loook!!
She's ecstatic.
Part 3-
So we left The Old Lodge Malton and headed off for Ganton. We had our trip to see Alba's lorry and more and then carried on where we started.
She has been stopped many many many many times today. Cars pipping and waving. Cars pulling over and donating. People stopping many times through all the places to chat and donate.
We've collected £229 in cash donations today now added into the fundraiser link.
We honestly can't believe any of this. The support is incredible!!
Arrived at the Ganton Greyhound to a warm welcome, tasty food, more donations, cards and gifts. Looking forward to a good night's sleep and breakfast tomorrow.
Just 9 miles tomorrow and we'll arrive in Scarborough!!

SHE MADE IT TO SCARBOROUGH
We set off this morning from Ganton on our way to Scarborough. She made it!
103 miles

Starting in Castleford and arriving in only 5 days.
We had a great walk today and made it to the seaside!! Rested up then headed down to the beach. We ate ice cream and played in the arcades! Tomorrow her daddy joins us for a fun filled day in Scarborough before home time.
She has been stopped 100s of times through all the places we visited. Many donations. So many cars tooting and waving. So many shops refusing money and gifting her snacks and her fave strawberry Cornetto! A pub full in Sherburn village cheering her on and all donating. It's honestly incredible and we still can't believe it.
She's had the best adventure ever!! Her face says it all.
